Interview with KHALI

1. What is your name/stage name?

KHALI is my official artist name.

2. When is your birthday?

December 13th 1994.

3. Where are you from?

I was born in Cincinnati, Ohio but grew up in Atlanta, Ga.

4. What do you do?

I am a musician who specializes in rap/hip-hop. I’m an alto saxophonist who plays a variety of different genres.

5. How long have you been making music?

I’ve been making music since I was 13-14 years old.

6. What was your first song/project?

It was a single released when I was apart of a group called VibeHouse EST. The name of the project was called Leak n Khaliq.

7. Who’s your inspiration?

Myself. You have to believe in your dreams in order for them to happen.

8. What genre of music do you create?

Hip-hop, Jazz, R&B, Gospel, & Reggae.

9. Do you come up with your video concepts?

I help come up with video concepts but I have a videography/creative team.

10. What was it like working with ___wvrly__________

Wvrly is my homie I mainly record with. He’s extremely professional with his craft and always challenges me to be a better artist. We’ve been working for the past couple years and it’s been awesome.
