– What is your name?
Rayven Riddick “Double R”
– Where are you from?
– Bedstuy, Brooklyn NY
– How long have you been in the music industry?
– I’ve been writing since I was 9, but I made my first official song last year.
– What is your biggest accomplishment?
– So far, my biggest accomplishment is graduating college after being under alot of stress.
– How has COVID affected you on your music journey?
– It made me focus on my music more and really dig deeper into my true self.
What’s your next move ?
– I want to start a project, maybe a mixtape. Lately I‘ve just been putting out singles. Trying to see what sound works best for me & also what the people like.
Are you working on any projects ?
– I plan to start working on that in the Winter.
Where do you see yourself in 1 year ?
– I see myself out of the projects & out of Brooklyn. Maybe move to Atlanta or Cali but still going strong with the music, working with more artists.
If you could pick one or the other what would you choose, the money or the fame?
I would choose the money. I say it all the time in my music “I dont wanna be famous” . Why? Because that wont matter to the people who truly care about me, I’m still Rayven. Nothing will change, but the money will put me & my family, friends in better predicaments. I want to make sure all my people who truly support me & was there from the start are well taken care of.
