1. How would you describe your musical style?

I would describe my musical style as very upbeat and energetic, especially when I perform. I can get the party rocking or get you pumped for the gym. I do have a chill side, though, I’ve been a notorious stoner for a while now. Definitely expect to hear different kinds of vibes from me.

2. What is the first album you owned?

The first album I owned was so long ago.. I can’t even really remember but the first few I remember were “…Baby One More Time” by Britney, Jackpot by Chingy and “The Marshall Mathers LP” by Eminem.

3. How do you prepare before going up on stage?

Before I go on stage I usually like to meditate and manifest a solid performance a few hours before then I have a drink or two to loosen up (light drinks nothing crazy).

4. If we’re going to buy you a drink, what should it be?

My favorite drink at the moment is an Old Fashioned, but if it’s before a show I like to sip on a corona or a Heineken.

5. What’s a song that has been stuck in your head these days?

Headshots by Isaiah Rashad will not leave my brain alone.. I love that song.

6. Who’s your favorite artist?

Isaiah Rashad is my favorite artist right now but I have been noticing Deante Hitchcock lately and I’m really digging his new album.

7. Tell us about the first song you made. Was it a success or a failure?

The first song I EVER made was definitely a failure. I recorded it on an ipod (terrible quality) and released it on SoundCloud where it got some decent attention for my first track but I ended up deleting it because of the poor quality. It was a song that I wrote to the Nas “Affirmative Action” instrumental, I actually still remember most of the lyrics from heart.

8. What is the story behind “FILL IN BLANK”

The story behind this new track “What I Wanna Do” is really all about me cutting ties with things that I don’t want in my life and focusing on my goals. I feel like the hook really lays that out. As an upcoming artist, you get a lot of solicitors that try to leech off of your hunger which is where the ransom bars came from in the first verse (my favorite part of the song). I say “gettin’ money they might ask for ransom, whoa, can’t do it, worked too hard for it can’t lose it, gon’ have to kill me, go on do it, yeah I’m up but I’ve been thru it”. I also have taken out loans for this music (from Uncle Sam) that I don’t plan on paying back until I’m financially comfortable off of my music, which I rap about in the first verse. But most of the track is just me rapping about the things I wanna do, or don’t wanna do.

9.If you could pick one or the other, what would you choose, the money or the fame?

Between the money and the fame, I’d choose the money for sure. I tend to get a little over stimulated when people give me too much attention.

10.If you could go back in time or in the future, which one would you choose and why?

I don’t think I’d go back in time or ahead in the future, cause of the ripple effect or whatever, I’d definitely mess something up
