What is your artist name?
My artist name is Pink Cocaine!… that’s what I came up with when I was young going through a lot of phases trying to find myself… I came up with a few names I’m not gonna say all of em but Chiko miori was one of them.. it was like a alter ego more so to speak… then pink cocaine is the purest form of cocaine.. everything I do is pure & genuine emotion.. so It just stuck with me
Where are you from? I’m originally from Orlando, Florida… Now I’m in Virginia.. kinda dull place for now but the scene out here is definitely growing into something similar like Atlanta music scene…
How long have you been in the music industry?
I’ve been in the music game for about i would say 2 years now.. when I first started I wouldn’t consider me being too deep in the industry until later on like when I grew up and started to develop as a artist my name got into the right places.. offers from labels & independent artist deals started to come, so I would say 2 years now but I just started taking this seriously to actually be a major artist on a label to dig deeper into the industry & become less of a underground artist
What is your biggest music accomplishment?
I think I would have to say getting on a show lineup with xxxtentacion, pouya, fat nick, & other upcoming artist that really had a strong momentum in the underground in the early days.. even to opening up shows in my earlier days for King Chip, & Casey…
What’s your next move?
I’m always on the move so it’s always something new to expect from me, lately I’m more focused on the message I’m getting across through my music & the content I post for my fans… for them to have something they feel apart of.. Expect tons of new videos & content coming 2022.
Are you working on any projects?
Yes, I’m currently working on a project called “No Signal” I started it a while back with ideas & pieces of what I wanted it to sound like… now I’m still currently working on finalizing the album. It’s a piece of work very special to me, it’s a different side of me than what most are used to…
Where do you see yourself in 1 year?
Owning my own independent label & brand that can in turn build with a few artist & producers to share the outlet to help the artist with talent that don’t have as much following but have the work ethic, talent & skills needed to succeed in the industry
Who inspired you to make music?
Honestly I didn’t wanna make music at first & was scared to put my stuff out there but what inspired me at the beginning was my sister, she was a artist & loved art, paintings, drawing anime & all kinds of different style art. She was the most creative person I’ve ever met. She passed away when I was only 9 years old & it changed me and my whole life was gone. She was my best friend & now my biggest inspiration! To live life & follow your dreams!
What producers have you been working with?
I mostly work with producers I meet on Instagram, tiktok, or on social media that engage with me & my fans they send me beats to my email all the time… I’m kinda picky when it comes to beat selection.. I may like the beat today & tomorrow I’m on to the next thing… It’s too many producers too list though honestly and to name a few I don’t want to leave anyone out… but I’m always working with different upcoming producers.. especially smaller producers have some of the best beats just need a chance to get those right placements..
Musical influences?
I’m heavily influenced by Juice Wrld, Xxxtentacion, Lil Peep, Lil Wayne, Chief Keef, & lucki was a HUGE inspiration early on when I first started making music around the time he went by Lucki Eck$ & released his project “Experimental Trap” it was a time where music was at a high point but that same aura & feeling is coming back to the music scene slowly but surely…
What age did you start making music?
I first started making music when I was about 13 but it wasn’t anything serious you know? Just your typical teenager curious what it would sound like & finding my interest being young trying new things.
What place/event do you wanna perform at?
I want to perform at Rolling Loud Sooooooo bad!! & I know I will perform one day at Rolling Loud, it’s coming! Side is also cool place to perform if they are bringing it back next year…
Did anybody push you to make music?
Nobody really pushed me to make music, it’s just something I picked up along the way on my own it was a hobby, & therapeutic for me. It’s like when I was recording on the mic, I was talking to my therapist or something… even if nobody was listening at first.
What do you want the fans to take from your music?
I want my fans to feel my energy most importantly, & to feel like anything is possible. Making them feel good with my music is just as important & giving them something that can make them move or feel something. We all just need someone or something to keep us going & I make music in hope to keep whoever is listening going through whatever they may be facing.. because people go through good times & bad times.. we are only human. I want to be apart of my listeners & my fans.. even when the songs stop & my music isn’t playing anymore in the car or radio or on the phone or wherever they are playing my music from ..I’m still with my fans
