Interview With Upcoming Artist VSHLEY

1. What’s your name?

Ashley. My stage name is VSHLEY.. basically Ashley with an upside down A.. creative right? 

2. Where are you from? 

Columbus, Ga. 

3. How old are you?     

26 but I feel younger lol 

4 .When did you start making music 

When I was 18. 

5. How serious are you about your career?

Very. I wanna make music for everyone. I want my music to influence people in a positive way. I want people to feel my emotion when they hear me in the studio. 

6. Have you ever thought about quitting music?

There’s been times where I doubted myself in my art but who hasn’t right? 

7. Who inspires you the most?

Everyone inspires me in their own way.. not just one single person. I can meet different people all the time and their personality and dreams inspire me to be a better, more creative person.

8.What got you into making music?

One day I was feeling emotional and I just wrote down a song, found a studio to record in, and bam I was hooked.. hearing my thoughts and feelings in my music helps me understand who i am. 

9.Who is your favorite producer?

Metro boomin or timbaland I’d have to say. If I ever got a chance to use a beat they created I would lose my SH..! 

10. What is one of your best songs/beats?

My best song is Toxic which I recently released on SoundCloud.. I’m in the middle of purchasing the lease and as soon as I do I’m dropping it on all major platforms. 

11. Are you signed to a record or label?

Not currently. I would only join a label if that label actually understood me as an artist and appreciated my art. Money is great but being accepting is more to me 

12. Have you ever performed?

When I was little. I auditioned for Blake Shelton. I made the finals but I didn’t continue after getting bronchitis.. causes me to lose my voice sometimes when I get real sick 

13. Who would you most likely collaborate with?

Oh man the list is long! Ice cube.. nwa is my all time fav rap group, sza, benee, baby goth, Gucci mane, cardi b, Kehlani 

14. If you could open for any artist who would it be?

Baby Goth.. our music is similar so I think it would fit the dynamic 

15. What’s next for you?

Big things. Music, cosplay, marketing, I wanna design my own clothing brand.. I have a lot I wanna accomplish before I’m 30.
