Jamieson Is The New Face of R&B

Jamieson is an independent artist from Fayetteville, NC who has a passion for creating music. He first discovered his love for singing while playing professional basketball in Spain and quickly began performing at karaoke bars. In his career, he has had the opportunity to work with writers and producers who have worked with artists like Chris Brown and Bryson Tiller.

 

As an artist, Jamieson’s ultimate goal is to become one of the best in his generation and make a significant impact on the music industry. He dreams of filling out stadiums and arenas, winning a Grammy, and having his records go platinum. He wants his music to not only be enjoyed by his listeners, but to also inspire and move them.

 

Jamieson takes pride in the progress he has made throughout his career and finds great fulfillment in proving others wrong and performing in front of large crowds. One of the biggest challenges he has faced as an independent artist is funding his career and paying everyday bills.

 

Some of Jamieson’s biggest musical inspirations include J Cole and Trey Songz, and he cites Kobe Bryant as his biggest non-musical inspiration. Currently, he is working on an EP called “Mixed Emotions” which is set to be released in January. He typically collaborates with his producer T-Rifik at Blacklight Studios in Virginia, as well as fellow artists Azzy, Zay, and Dro.
