Born Jibraan Siddiqi and repping Austin, Texas, jbbrsh isn’t just another rapper — he’s a genre-hopping, bar-spitting, beat-making powerhouse representing the new wave of global-minded, underground hip-hop.
For him, music isn’t just a passion — it’s a lifestyle. From freestyling in high school to locking in studio time during college, music became his release valve, a mental health lifeline, and the most exciting part of his life. “Music, sex, food, and exercise — my greatest pleasures,” he says. “Being a rapper was the only move.”
2025’s already been wild. jbbrsh just came off tour with shows in Austin (SXSW) and South Padre’s Spring Break Fest at Clayton’s with a 5,000-person crowd. He’s opening for Lil Mosey at The Observatory this summer and already rocked venues across Hollywood and Orange County.
As a rapper, singer, and producer, his sound stretches from happy melodic hooks to aggressive, experimental flows. His pen game draws from legends like Eminem, Kanye, Kendrick, and Biggie, while his melodic side is influenced by Gunna, Travis Scott, Thug, and Eric Reprid. And since he produces too? He brings that Travis x Ye-level precision to every track — building a world from scratch.
Lyrically, jbbrsh doesn’t stay boxed in. He raps about identity, love, betrayal, gratitude, lust, and depression, all while still having fun with the party and flex bars. “Not everyone wants conscious rap all the time — and neither do I.”
After grinding solo for years — doing everything from mixing to art design — he now rolls with a growing team of creatives who help elevate the vision. His track “Right Now” (feat. AYO SK3TCH) hit 200k organic streams on Spotify, showing that the grind is translating into results.
Challenges? Plenty. Especially closing the gap between the quality of music he loved and what he could make early on. But that hunger pushed him to evolve. “Now, I damn near make music just so I got something fire to listen to.”
He’s currently dropping content on IG Reels, TikTok, and about to start livestreaming studio sessions, building a deeper bond with his fans.
Next up? “Gifted” feat. Yardy Léxandros, dropping Friday, April 11 — a Gunna-style banger for the vibers.
jbbrsh is an artist for those who crave underground truth, global sauce, and bars that bite. He’s here to put on for Texas, Desis, and genre-blending creatives everywhere.
