Kietell is a rapper and producer from Mississauga, Ontario who claims that his interests in music started before he was born. He says his father would put headphones on his mother’s stomach, and he would kick to the beats of whatever that was playing and that’s why they gave him the name Knox. His interests, and true love for music made him pursue the career.
The Start
Kietell started producing when he was 16 and rapping seriously when he was 19. His biggest music influencers were Jay-Z, Kanye West and Big L. He even to date listens to Kanye’s productions and raps especially the album, “Graduation.” The thing that makes him love and enjoy Jay Z’s songs are his flows and bars which are always on top-notch. Big L is actually the person who inspired him to venture in rapping due to his flows and storytelling abilities that are just amazing.
The ‘Pressure’
Kietell’s latest song titled Pressure took him only 45 minutes to write while he was at work. The same day, he went back home and made the beat for it. The song needed something aggressive and hard-hitting, so he employed intense trumpets, strings, and electric guitars in the beats to achieve it.
In Conclusion
Kietell is planning on dropping a new song sometime in May and an EP in July. He is always making beats and uploading them on his Instagram and YouTube channels. His creativity is boosted by the fact that he can hear music in pretty much everything hence he can make his music at any time.
