Five years ago, a versatile voice emerged from Virginia’s hip-hop scene. Loah Semi didn’t stumble into music—he stepped into it deliberately, armed with raw talent and an unshakable work ethic. His first project, *Written N Stone EP*, laid the foundation for an artist who refuses to be boxed in.
What sets Loah apart is his chameleon-like ability to move through sounds. While his core lives in rap and hip-hop, his headphones spin everything from rock to R&B to pop. That musical curiosity bleeds into his own work, making each release unpredictable yet cohesive. “I’m a music fan first,” he explains, and that genuine love for the craft resonates in every bar he writes.
Currently independent, Loah keeps his options strategic. Distribution deals interest him, but he’s not desperate for any contract that comes his way. His dream collaborators read like a summit of street legends—Mo3, Young Dolph, Tupac, Moneybagg Yo, Big Boogie—artists who built empires on authenticity. He’s equally open to working with anyone hungry enough to match his energy.
His support system keeps him grounded: a dedicated Dallas team, his mother, and his manager form the backbone of his operation. Together, they’re pushing his latest single “Fake Friendz” while preparing to drop “Coming 2 Virginia” this month. When he co-produces his visuals and writes for others (a skill he keeps quietly in his pocket), he’s building more than a catalog—he’s constructing a brand.
The stage has already welcomed him to crowds of 500, but Loah sees himself somewhere else entirely in five years: “With Grammys on top of the world.” Given his relentless drive, versatile skill set, and the strategic mind behind the music, that ceiling might just be the floor.
Virginia gave him roots. Soon, the world will know his name.
