What is your name/stage name?

    ” My name is CLEVER Promise Olozulu and my stage name is LYRICALS “

Where are you from?

    ” I’m from southern ijaw local government area, BAYELSA state, NIGERIA “

What do you do?

    ” I’m a rapper, singer, song writer and also a student at federal university Otueke in BAYELSA state, NIGERIA “

How long have you been making music?

    ” I’ve been making music for about 5 years. “

Who’s your biggest inspiration?

    ” UNKNOWN T is my biggest inspiration. But before unknown T, I’d say ,life inspired me , I’ve been alone for a long period of time , ever since I was 13 , Because of the bad economy here , I had to leave home to feed home ,sometimes I do rap battles or rap for my friends or small shows just to get money for survival , I’d say I learnt a lot about rap from Eminem but I always had a different tune when freestyling his flows , I tried harder , went faster , actually made it perfect a couple of times but deep down I knew I wasn’t in the right lane , until I came across UNKNOWN T ,drills , that was what inspired me , because I actually saw what I was trying to do in Unknown T but he did it better  professionally, he had the right voice for it, right tune , bars , so I started working on drills , I looked into his lifestyle ,got a couple of his songs and saw how he mixed his words to always get that perfect bounce and he always managed to show me with his new songs that what I thought were impossible, we’re actually possible .I mean his unique pattern , you can never mistake him for anyone else .. And that’s what inspired me to not just do drills with catchy hooks, but actually rap faster, putting more life /story / meaning in my songs and still getting the perfect bounce a drill needs.”

What genre of music do you create?

     “British hip hop, UK drill, Afropop and hip hop.”

     ” Nice “.

What are some features you have?

    ” Firstly, I have a dope feature with a USA FEMALE Rapper named LIL GLO, the title of the song is FREE MY DAWGS. we’ve recorded the demo, she recorded her part over there and sent it to me, I’ve also recorded my part but haven’t mixed and mastered the song yet so it’s still yet to be released … and I have some cool features with my little bro (Bhadman RICKY) the first one’s titled BADMEN, second one’s THE HOOD, and we just recorded one titled GENTLE ONE, but we haven’t released any … I also have some features with other upcoming NIGERIAN artists and one with an artist from TOGO.”

What are some features you want to get?

   ” I’d love to have features with some of the best rappers in USA and UK. I’m good enough, maybe my appearance and financial status isn’t good enough yet, but trust me, I know I can … and also, official KING LO, I’d love to have a track with him …”

Who’s one person, dead or alive, that you’d want to work with?

   ” UNKNOWN T and Swaggertown Records”.

    ” NO “.

Do you want a record deal, a distribution deal, or none?

    ” Record deal “.

Who are your biggest supporters?

    ” No one actually supported me when it comes to my music, as a matter of fact even my parents tried to talk me out of its years back, but I just kept pushing “.

Where did your name come from?

   ” From my rap, I’ve always been a rapper with lots of lyrics, always made sure I keep up my game, letting no one else wow the audience more than I could, so I named myself LYRICALS.”

What are you currently working on?

   ” A drill titled STRONG ENOUGH, which I’ve been writing for about 2 months, just want to make sure it’s perfect because I have big dreams of featuring UNKNOWN T or any other rapper, preferably DRAKE, M HUNCHO, or STORMZY in it.”

What is your latest release?

When is your next release?

    “Honestly I can’t say, I’ve recorded about 15 songs, and I know for sure that five (5) of them are dope, awesome drills that anyone will love, but I can’t seem to pick a release date because I don’t quite have enough fans, supporters, or cash to make them viral as they’re supposed to be.”
