Muni Long Is Back With “Slow Grind”

Muni Long is no stranger to the spotlight, but with her latest single “Slow Grind,” she’s turning the heat up even higher. If you’re not familiar with her yet, get ready—this two-time GRAMMY winner is about to take over your playlist.

Muni Long: From Songwriter to R&B Queen

Over the years, Muni Long has established herself as one of the most sought-after songwriters in the music industry. She’s worked with some of the biggest names in the game, including legends like Mariah Carey, Rihanna, and Ariana Grande. But as much as she’s loved behind the scenes, she’s always had the chops to be in the spotlight herself.

After spending years writing hits for other artists, Muni officially launched her solo career in 2019. It didn’t take long for her to make waves, with “Hrs & Hrs” serving as her breakthrough moment. The track became a viral sensation and earned her her first Grammy for Best R&B Performance. And if that wasn’t enough, 2023’s “Made For Me” only solidified her place as a force to be reckoned with in R&B.

Her sophomore album Revenge, which dropped last year, continued to build on her success. Several of its tracks have already racked up millions of streams, proving that Muni’s star is only rising.

This Valentine’s Day, Muni Long dropped “Slow Grind,” a song that will have you hooked from the first note. Fans have been waiting for a solo release, and this one is totally worth the wait.

The song takes us back to the late ’90s R&B vibes that have been making a major comeback, with smooth beats and Muni’s signature sultry delivery. In “Slow Grind,” she lets her love interest know that she’s ready for a night of intense passion. If you’ve ever wanted a soundtrack for a romantic evening, this track is definitely it. Muni’s powerful vocals and playful lyrics promise that anyone who listens in will be in for a night full of unforgettable moments.

It’s clear that Muni’s taking full advantage of her years of experience and incredible vocal talent. “Slow Grind” is both fiery and smooth, just like Muni herself, and it’s likely to be one of the year’s hottest tracks.

If “Slow Grind” is any indication of what’s to come, Muni Long is gearing up for an exciting 2025. Whether you’re a longtime fan or just discovering her music, this track is an absolute must-listen.

A seductive ballad that’s bound to steal your heart, one slow grind at a time.
