Houston Show Turns Tense
NBA YoungBoy is back in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons—or the right ones, depending on how you look at it. During a recent concert in Houston, the Baton Rouge rapper took direct aim at Lil Durk before diving into his fiery track “I Hate YoungBoy.”
Before the beat even dropped, YoungBoy addressed the crowd and called Durk a “pussy ass n***a,” which drew a mixed reaction—some fans cheered, others seemed unsure how to respond. Regardless, the energy spiked as he launched into the diss-heavy anthem.
The Beef That Won’t Quit
What makes this even more interesting is that YoungBoy once brushed off the feud as “entertainment.” In a past interview with Gillie Da Kid, he admitted, “It ain’t what you think OG—all this sht entertainment.”* Still, the back-and-forth with Durk has been ongoing since 2021, sparked after the tragic death of King Von, a close friend and collaborator of Durk.
Since then, both rappers have traded blows online, in music, and even through their release dates—dropping projects on the same day earlier this year just to compete.
Durk’s Response
Durk didn’t stay quiet. He fired back on Instagram, accusing YoungBoy of playing games when it came to meeting up: “You lied bout sending the address 7x… I’m finna grab my coat 1 more time send the address.”
Their exchanges have escalated beyond music. Reports even surfaced of YoungBoy scrapping with another inmate in prison after they allegedly shouted “OTF” (Durk’s crew) at him, leading to a stint in solitary confinement.
What’s Next?
For fans, the saga between NBA YoungBoy and Lil Durk has become almost as big as their music. While some hope the two will eventually squash it, others tune in for the drama like it’s part of the show. Either way, one thing’s clear: this rap rivalry is far from over.
