Hailing from Salisbury, Maryland, but born in Cameroon, Noc Beteck is an artist on the rise who’s crafting a unique blend of hip-hop with pop and EDM influences. Despite being relatively new to the game, Noc’s dedication to his craft is undeniable, and his journey to success is fueled by passion, purpose, and a bit of family inspiration.
Starting his musical journey in high school, Noc didn’t officially release his music until December 2022 with the track “Mental Paradox.” Since then, he’s been building a steady catalog, impressing listeners with his versatility across genres. Although hip-hop is his primary focus, Noc isn’t afraid to explore pop and EDM vibes, demonstrating that his artistry knows no boundaries.
When asked about his influences, Noc reveals that his children and mother are his primary sources of inspiration. “My kids and my mom push me to be better every day,” he says. But when it comes to music, he draws from a wide range of influences including YG Teck, Finesse 2Tymes, Kevin Gates, and the late Aaliyah. He’s driven by the desire to not just create music, but to create a lasting impact in the industry.
Noc Beteck is currently independent, but he has big dreams for the future. He’s open to signing with a label or securing a distribution deal, as he believes it will give him the platform he needs to share his message with the world. “It would help me fulfill my purpose with music,” he says. And his purpose seems clear—to create music that speaks to real life, as well as pushing boundaries and setting trends.
His latest release, “Trendsetters,” is a testament to this ambition. The track speaks to the power of influence and style, capturing Noc’s ethos of living life boldly and unapologetically. He’s also hard at work writing new material, with a new single “For the Streets” dropping soon—a track that explores the complexities of relationships and the dynamics of a promiscuous woman navigating her options.
While he’s yet to perform for a massive crowd, Noc is aiming for bigger stages. “I’d love to perform in places like Dubai or the UK,” he says, with aspirations of touring the world alongside the likes of Chris Brown, YG Teck, Drake, Beyoncé, and J. Cole.
With his work ethic, passion, and creative versatility, Noc Beteck is definitely an artist to keep an eye on. He’s not just here to make music—he’s here to make history.
