NOLA’s Hottest Unsigned Producer Shotgunbeats

From the swamps of Louisiana emerges a beat maestro with a vision as vast and mysterious as the bayou itself. Devante Collins, better known as Shotgunbeats, has always been fascinated by the art of creation. As a child, the act of conjuring something meaningful out of nothing but raw emotion and sound captivated him. It was this love for creation that drew him into the world of music, where he has since carved out a niche for himself as a versatile and unique producer.

While the journey has had its highs and lows, Shotgunbeats reflects fondly on the moments when he brushed shoulders with stars and icons of the industry. From meeting established artists to getting radio play, and even working alongside heavyweights like Big Freedia and The Game, each experience has been a testament to his evolving talent and commitment to his craft. His sound is a kaleidoscope of emotions, each beat a reflection of the human experience, resonating with listeners on a deep level. His music isn’t just heard; it’s felt. It’s the kind of music that wraps around you, triggering memories and feelings you didn’t know were there.

Collaboration, for Shotgunbeats, isn’t just about blending different sounds but about finding a direction that all artists involved can rally behind. Whether it’s producing a track solo or collaborating with other musicians, he always ensures there’s a clear vision guiding the creative process. Despite these collaborative efforts, he takes pride in his independence. Being independent allows him to stay true to his unique sound, and the freedom it brings keeps his creativity flowing without constraints.

Like many in the industry, Shotgunbeats has faced his fair share of setbacks. Scams and broken promises have littered his path, but his resilience has always seen him through. His determination to rise above challenges and his inspiration from seeing others succeed fuel his drive to keep pushing forward. For him, the hustle never stops, and neither does his engagement with his audience. He connects with fans directly, often going live to review beats and songs, making sure his followers are part of his creative journey.

Looking ahead, Shotgunbeats is gearing up to drop a new single. And if all goes according to plan, this one will feature a bigger artist, setting the stage for what could be his most significant breakthrough yet. For Shotgunbeats, the journey is just beginning, and he’s more than ready to keep making waves in the music scene.
