North Carolina’s B-Wise is Back and Committed to His Music More Than Ever

Asheville, North Carolina’s B-Wise is getting ready to release his third project, Triune. Brandon Wise has been independently making gospel rap music since he was seventeen years old, not long after he re-committed his life to Christ. 

 

“I used to sell drugs at an early age,” says Wise, “but when I started going back to church, I decided to re-dedicate my life to God…and wanted to write and share my experience.” 

 

Ever since, Wise has been making music inspired by his faith in Jesus and some of his favourite artists, like Kanye West. He has worked with one of his favourite producers, Allrounda, to bring listeners his 2018 hit, “Still Looking Well.” 

 

Now, at thirty-eight, Wise is committed more than ever to taking his career to new heights. “He Reigns,” his latest single, was released in May 2021 alongside a music video directed by Erik Flores. In the new year, Wise hopes to collaborate with other artists, like Dee-1, and to finally bring his listeners his third studio project, Triune.
