He’s from South Central, Los Angeles, PopAlot 16 is an up-and-coming rap artist bringing fresh energy to the hip-hop and Pimp Hop scenes. His journey began at 14, with his first song written in juvenile hall back in 2005. Encouraged by an old friend to hit the studio, he has since honed his craft and built a dedicated fanbase.
With notable features, including “2 Sweaters” and an upcoming collaboration with New York’s own Dave East, PopAlot 16 continues to make waves. His latest release, “I’m Hot,” sets the stage for his anticipated next project. As a Pimp Hop of the Year nominee, he is gearing up for a live performance at the HHF Awards in Atlanta this April, where he will perform for his biggest audience yet—over 2,000 people, including major celebrities.
Open to the right deal, he remains independent, writing all his own material and collaborating with close friends for music video concepts. With aspirations of touring alongside Kendrick Lamar and performing internationally, PopAlot 16 is determined to take his career to the next level.
