Trae Tha Truth is back on his grind, and he’s bringing some heavy hitters with him. The Houston legend just dropped “Thank You,” a heartfelt and uplifting collaboration featuring Chance the Rapper and gospel powerhouse Yolanda Adams. This soulful anthem serves as the first single from his upcoming album, Angel, set to drop this spring.
Despite releasing two projects in 2024—Crowd Control and a self-titled album with Tha Rejects—Trae shows no signs of slowing down. “Thank You” is a powerful start to his next chapter, blending heartfelt gratitude with smooth, gospel-infused production. Chance the Rapper brings his signature positivity, while Yolanda Adams elevates the track with stunning vocals that take it to church.
If this is just the beginning of the Angel era, we’re in for something special. “Thank You” sets the tone for what could be one of Trae’s most personal and inspiring projects yet.
