Philadelphia based artist XIIIM has been crafting his sound for years, and is now noted for his versatile range of genres and styles. He has become an alternative R&B artist, blending and creating from the sounds of Neo-Soul, Reggae, and funk. His years in creation have brought him to his latest single, “Deja Vu”.
Before taking on the new musical identity that he is working under now, XIIIM (formerly known as King Zimm) started as a rapper. Gaining praise for his unique rap flows, his work slowly started to incorporate an assortment of musical styles until he was no longer just an M.C., but an award-winning guitarist, producer, songwriter and recording artist, of incredibly diverse genres.
That’s not to say that his rap roots have been completely forgotten; fans of XIIIM’s previous works may recognize a few of his earlier singles, such as “Darkness”, “Shawty Got Soul” (ft Prin$e Alexander), and “Delusional”. Alongside his new single, XIIIM is putting the finishing touches on a collaboration with April Kae, a New York based musician and influencer whose smile has netted her more brand deals with Mastercard, Whiteclaw, and Ilia Beauty to name a few!
