In a recent interview with TMZ, rapper T.I. announced that he will be dropping the title “King of the South” when he releases his upcoming album “Kill The King”, which he stated will be his final album. He reflected on the title’s significance, noting that it began a journey that was full of challenges, opposition, and adversity.

T.I. also revealed that Big Boi had warned him about the title’s implications when he was new to the music industry, cautioning that the title puts a target on the individual’s back and sets them up for the “Kill The King” game of chess.
