“It’s my three-year anniversary with Jeff, and I drove all the way to the jail,” Mariah said. She shared the lengths she went to, stopping at Party City on the way to pick up supplies to make her own “Happy Anniversary” sign. “I’m talking about Scotch tape and all of that,” she joked. “It’s through a screen, by the way. I was just trying to make it special, you know?”
But when she arrived at the facility, the news was not what she expected. “They told me the system was down,” she continued, clearly upset. “I’m devastated. I got cute. I put my ponytail in, did all this stuff, and now I can’t see my man on our anniversary. It’s just crazy. I had to let you in on my trials and tribulations.”
