Wiz Khalifa has officially entered the world of video games in a unique way. Developer IO Interactive recently unveiled a special limited-time mission for Hitman: World of Assassination that features the rapper as a high-profile target known as “The Wizard.”
The mission places players in a crowded MMA arena, where Agent 47 must locate and eliminate The Wizard while navigating through a venue packed with fighters, security personnel, and loyal followers.
A Mission Built Around Wiz Khalifa’s Real-Life Interests
Unlike many celebrity cameos that simply insert a famous face into a game, this collaboration appears closely tied to Wiz Khalifa’s real-world persona.
Over the years, the rapper has become well known for his commitment to fitness and martial arts training. The in-game version of Wiz reflects that reputation, presenting The Wizard as a physically intimidating figure rather than a typical celebrity target.
The MMA setting reinforces that connection, making the mission feel like a natural extension of Wiz’s public image rather than a random crossover.
High Security Creates A New Challenge
As with other Elusive Target missions in the Hitman series, players must carefully plan their approach.
The Wizard is heavily protected throughout the arena, forcing Agent 47 to blend into the crowd, avoid suspicion, and identify opportunities without alerting security. The heightened security presence adds another layer of difficulty, making the mission more demanding than many standard contracts.
Available For A Limited Time
The Wiz Khalifa mission follows the franchise’s popular Elusive Target format, which introduces temporary contracts that are only available during a specific window.
Players can access the mission for free until July 5, giving both longtime Hitman fans and casual players an opportunity to experience the crossover before it disappears.
A Growing Tradition Of Celebrity Collaborations
The Hitman franchise has built a reputation for incorporating celebrities into special events and limited-time missions. However, many fans feel this collaboration stands out because of how naturally the concept aligns with Wiz Khalifa’s personality and interests.
Rather than focusing solely on his music career, the mission highlights another side of the rapper that fans have watched develop for years.
Music And Gaming Worlds Collide
The timing is also notable, as Wiz Khalifa is preparing for a major summer tour alongside MGK. The gaming appearance helps keep the Pittsburgh artist visible across multiple entertainment spaces simultaneously.
For fans of both gaming and hip-hop, the collaboration offers an unusual opportunity: stepping into Agent 47’s shoes and hunting down a virtual version of one of rap’s most recognizable stars.
With the mission only available for a limited time, players interested in taking on The Wizard will need to act before the contract disappears from Hitman: World of Assassination.
