BABYG, a rising artist out of LA known for blending genres and pushing boundaries, is back with a fresh track titled “Magik.” This song is a departure from BABYG’s previous work, venturing into a jersey-type production that promises to captivate listeners with its electronic flair and infectious energy.
When asked about the theme or concept behind “Magik,” BABYG shared, “This song is already released with the music video on YouTube. It’s a jersey type of production that’s quite different from my earlier releases.”
The inspiration behind the lyrics of “Magik” came from a spontaneous creative process. BABYG revealed, “Honestly, I just freestyled this record. I got into the studio right after I released my previous project ‘Fragile’ and started working on new music immediately, going in an electronic direction. It was really different, but I loved it.”
Recording and producing “Magik” was an organic process for BABYG, with much of the magic happening spontaneously in the studio. The production of the track was a collaborative effort with BABYG’s good friend, Alex Jordan. “It was really dope to collaborate with my really good friend Alex Jordan on the production of this record,” BABYG said.
With “Magik,” BABYG continues to evolve as an artist, embracing new sounds and styles while staying true to their unique creative vision. This track is just a glimpse into the dynamic and ever-changing world of BABYG, where the only constant is the music’s ability to surprise and delight.
