5. A song that’s been stuck in my head here lately are two of my songs for two different reasons:

A. It’s A Black Thing- Because of it’s social relevance. Unfortunately, anytime there is mistreatment/police brutality/black on black crime. This track will have a lane. Fortunately, this song illustrates our resilience, resolve and refusal to give up.

B. Lay It On The Line- This song is the embodiment of everything an artist has to do to be successful in the industry. You only get ONE SHOT TO IMPRESS. GIVE IT EVERYTHING YOU GOT, GIVE IT 1000% OF YOURSELF…LAY IT ON THE LINE!!!!!!!

6. I am my favorite artist (followed closely by 2pac)

7. The first song I ever made was song titled HEAD. It did neither, I never released it.

8. The story behind my track “It’s A Black Thing.” This song was originally written in 2012. My reasoning for this song coincides with the ever present problem with the black race and police brutality/systemic racism. Conversely, this song also offers hope and calls for us to get up every time we are knocked down. I changed the last verse because I am not a rapper by trade  and I could get the original verse down, so I changed it to include current social events.

9. I think I will choose money. I eventually want to song write, there’s plenty of great songwriter whose song we have heard, yet have no clue who they are!!. I could use the money to make a difference in my family and my community.

10. I would go back in time, to atone for past mistakes. But also, to get my music out sooner!
