Charleston White has inserted himself into the Pooh Shiesty saga, offering unconfirmed theories about what allegedly drove the Memphis rapper to confront his label boss.

During a recent appearance on Adin Ross’ stream—captured by DJ Akademiks TV—the controversial commentator shared details he attributed to Pooh Shiesty’s mother. According to White, she claimed Gucci Mane earned $24 million from Shiesty’s music while the rapper served prison time, money Shiesty allegedly never received during or after his incarceration.

White then connected this narrative to federal allegations that Shiesty, his father, Big30, and six others kidnapped and robbed Gucci Mane at a Dallas recording studio. The alleged motive: forcing Gucci to void Shiesty’s 1017 Records contract over financial discrepancies.

However, significant caveats apply. None of White’s specific claims about Shiesty’s mother have been verified. While she recently posted Facebook messages about blocking haters and maintaining faith—indicating support for her son—no official statements confirm she made the $24 million allegations White described.

The federal indictment itself tells a different story than White’s theory. Prosecutors allege Shiesty orchestrated an “armed takeover” on January 10, 2026, luring victims under false pretenses of contract discussions before allegedly choking one colleague and stealing luxury items including a Rolex and Louis Vuitton bag.

Shiesty’s attorney, John Helms, pushed back against the government’s framing. “The government tries to characterize this as a dispute over money between [Shiesty] and his record label, but in this business, things are very often not what they seem,” he stated, suggesting deeper complexity beneath the surface narrative.

Gucci Mane has maintained complete silence publicly, though reports indicate he identified his alleged attackers to investigators—including recognizing Shiesty through Instagram handles.
