Multi Award winning rapper and singer songwriter, Joshua Nathaniel (aka Niño Brown bka Cortez Garza) embraced his spiritual roots and identity in a new smashing single ” Timeless Music” with emerging Christian musician, 7DE, who bears the 7 in his artist name to embody the meaning of completion and fulfillment he has found on his spiritual journey. The song tells the typical nothing to something story in a way most artists fail to convey. 7DE focuses on his struggles with feeling like a loser in much of his early life, wasting time in bad situationships, feeling like his youth was just passing him by and then in his prime being tempted much like the story of Jesus in the wilderness, being faced with decisions to compromise his morals for temporary gains, to sell his soul to a music industry that chews artists alive and spits out dead ends. But in his pursuit of a better life and greatness, he found purpose in meaning in the monotonous and toilsome day to day grind by understanding his relationship with Jesus was where he could find his true identity. It allowed him to think outside the box and see what others couldn’t by faith and not by sight. This song is a blend of established and emerging musicians who feel each other’s pain and seek to fulfill the prophetic words “iron sharpens iron”. Joshua Nathaniel who has faced a lot of adversities on his climb toward the top and various opps that are actively trying to hold him back on his rise to becoming a national star but he has faith that he is unstoppable, and he won’t let anything or anyone hold him back.
