Da’wan Gold was born in Boston but grew up on a farm in Georgia. He started making music while being in the Army. He served two Combat Tours in Iraq. After being injured he used music as a therapy and got his life back on track. He started writing poetry at age 11.

sandbox and in the trenches literally with me. I’m currently working on my 3rd project called Ego Trip. It’s 13 singles I’m releasing, I’ve so far released 3 songs
with the next release coming in November.”
