Q: What is your stagename for those who don’t know?

A: “187 B.I.G.”

Q: Where are you located?

A: “The San Francisco/Bay Area.“

Q: What is the meaning behind your name?

A: “Eighteen seven is my entertainment company and ‘B.I.G’ stands for ‘Blessed. Intelligent. Gamed up.’“

Q: What are your roles in the music industry?

A: “Artist and producer.“

Q: What got you into music?

A: “My uncle used to take me to the studio with him when I was younger, and I have been in love with music ever since.“

Q: What type of music do you make?

A: “I don’t have a type of music I make. I’m human like everyone else so somedays I create club/party music, other days I may be doing a lot of reflecting on life and make something that is a part of my life story; I go with whatever the beat says to me.“

Q: How long have you been making music?

A: “I’ve been in the game over a decade.“

Q: What are you making music for?

A: “It’s really therapeutic for me but seeing all the possibilities that can come from a good career in the music industry it’s also another way to make connections and branch out into other fields.“

Q: What’s driving you?

A: “My mom and brother doing life sentences and my son are my biggest motivations and driving forces.“

Q: Who are your biggest supporters?

A: “Random people that come across my music on the internet lol as sad as it sounds, I’ve never really got support from people around me, which I’ve always been fine with.“

Q: Are you signed to a label?

A: “No.”

Q: Do you want a record deal, a distribution deal, or none?

A: “As long as the terms are fine, a record deal or distribution are cool. Right now, my focus is to take the independent route until I build my buzz, so I have leverage when talking with labels.“

Q: Who are some features that you have?

A: “I’m currently working on some stuff with lil air from San Francisco.”

Q: What was it like working with lil air?

A: “Very kool , I’ve been a fan of his music and it’s very surreal being on songs with him.“

A: “Mac dre”
