Q.) What is your name/stage name?
A.) ” A&C “
Q.) Where are you located?
A.) ” The Netherlands, but I was originally born in Durban, South Africa. “
Q.) What is the meaning behind your name?
A.) ” My name is just my initials (A and C), because my friends always shortened my name to AC, so I decided to also make that my stage name. ”
Q.) What are your roles within the music industry?
A.) ” I write Hip-Hop music and produce Hip-Hop music. “
Q.) What got you into music?
A.) “ I have always been into music, since I was very young, my whole life I wanted to make music, so I decided to just try make a song and I fell in love with the art of emceeing. “
Q.) What type of music do you make?
A.) ” I make mostly Old School Boom Bap Hip-Hop. “
Q.) How long have you been making music?
A.) ” I have been writing music for about 4 years, I only started making my own music around 2 years ago.“
Q.) What are you making music for?
A.) “ I make music because I love it, not for the fame or money, just because I love music. I could never live without music. “
Q.) What’s driving you?
A.) ” My biggest motivator is the thought of being able to tour the world and make lots of money doing the thing I love the most. “
Q.) Who are your biggest supporters?
A.) ” My biggest supporters are my brother, my mother, and my father. “
Q.) Are you signed to a label?
A.) ” No. “
Q.) Do you want a record deal, a distribution deal, or none?
A.) ” As of right now, no. I want to finish school and once I’m finished school I dream to one day be signed to Aftermath Records. “
Q.) Who are some features that you have?
A.) ” I have featured the artist Sin on two of my tracks, 808’s and Chaos. And I have featured I.K.P. on 1 of my tracks, Road 2 Riches. “
Q.) What was it like working with (collab)?
A.) ” Working with Sin was awesome, I’m very sure we will one day make another song together. We are boys, he’s supported me for more than 5 months straight and he frequently gives me shoutouts, so do I. And working with I.K.P. was cool too. We made our song and then fell out of contact. We still follow each other on social media but we don’t speak. He’s a super cool dude though. “
Q.) Who are some features you want to get?
A.) “ I would love to make a song with Valious, Ice Cube, Lil Tecca, DJLeach and NF (NF is my all time dream). “
Q.) Who’s one person dead or alive that you’d want to work with?
A.) ” I would LOVE to work with Big L, NF, Proof, DJ Kay Slay or Tupac. “
Q.) Is there anybody else you want to shout out for any reason?
A.) ” I want to shout out Sin for making fire music and always being there to help grow my music. I also want to shout out DJ Leach for helping a brother hustle and understanding the struggle. “
Q.) What are you currently working on?
A.) ” I’m currently working on a single that I intend to release in March. “
Q.) What is your latest release?
A.) ” My latest release is a single named “Stay Sick’. It is available on all platforms under the name A&C or Ayency. “
