Q.) What is your name/stage name?

A.) “My name is Brandon Manning and my stage name is MSR which stands for ‘Mean Street Rapper’ it was a name I just made up and has little to no meaning to what it says aha.”

Q.) Where are you from?

A.) “I was born in Geelong a city in the south of Victoria and lived there for about 14 years that’s where I started my music, I have now moved to the western suburbs of Melbourne for a change in life which has been a great experience for the past year and a half.”

Q.) What do you do?

A.) “I now work in a factory doing joinery work putting together steel frames for housing to be put up, but my goal is my music career that I want to pursue.”

Q.) How long have you been making music?

A.) “I started when I was only 16 and now have been making music for about 9 years now and I’m hoping it will soon payoff.”

Q.) who’s your biggest inspiration?

A.) “When I started it definitely was Eminem himself that got me into making music but as I’ve grown as an artist I’ve moved towards Drake as an inspiration in my life at this moment as his work and wordplay is amazing.”

Q.) What genre of music do you create?

A.) “I create Hip-Hop and also have had people like Turtleman call it singJ.”

Q.) What was it like working with (collabs?)

A.) “I’ve Collaborated on a couple songs with my sister as she can sing and that’s been a fun experience.

I’ve also just recently Collaborated with a producer and finished a new project which I’ll be releasing at a later date.”

A.) “I actually don’t have many features yet but would love to work with someone new.”

A.) “Definitely Drake 100% bucket list ticked off life complete aha.“

A.) “I for sure would wanna work with drake 100% as at the moment he’s my artist I’ve been listening to all day every day.”

A.) “No I’m not but it’s a goal to have a label sign me to help me kick goals and have a team behind me as I’ve Only been waiting and working 9 years for this.”

A.) “I definitely want a record deal cos I feel I would grind hella hard knowing this is my dream.”

A.) “Definitely Family members are my biggest supporters atm as well as a couple of fans that like my music and I appreciate it a lot.”

Q.) Where did your name come from?

A.) “When I was 16 i was playing call of duty and the MSR sniper rifle gave me the idea and it just stuck like glue now it’s with me forever.”

A.) “I’m currently working on a few songs that are half done I’ve also got a new one bout to be released soon enough.”

A.) “My latest release is ‘Shadows’ and I’d say I did well on that one.”

A.) “My next release will be called ‘Left Me’ and it will be coming soon.”
