A.) “Mello$av”

A.) “Springfield, Massachusetts. Born and raised.”
Q.) What is the meaning behind your name?
A.) “My real name is Melvin, and I’m a really mellow person until pushed. So that’s where the ‘$av’ part comes in.”
Q.) What are your roles within the music industry?
A.) “As of now I have no role in the music industry. However, I hope that changes soon. I feel like I’m a hidden gem that’s almost about to be discovered.”
Q.) What got you into music?
A.) “My grandmother always put me in music programs since I was in elementary school. My family is full of musicians so it’s like a part of my culture. “
Q.) What type of music do you make?
A.) “I honestly have made so many types of vibes, I’m pretty versatile. I honestly would say I make music for witty nerds who dress fly as hell and ain’t no punk. If you a punk my music is not for you, you can be a nerd just don’t be a punk, you feel me?”
Q.) How long have you been making music?
A.) “I’ve been making music since I was 9. It started with choirs and violin practice. I would write poems until I started writing poems to beats when I was like 11. Never stopped since. “

A.) “I’m making music because I love it. The feeling i get after a new finished track is always the best feeling. Or when you hear the beat and instantly find that flow. Music is life.”

A.) “I’ve never been the type to lose my will. I truly believe i was made for this. My life revolves around music and the love I have for it will steer me where I need to go. “

A.) “I can name a couple people, but I don’t want anyone to feel left out. I appreciate all the support I get it’s helped me grow in many ways. I’m also not sure. “

A.) “No, I’m not.”

A.) “I don’t think it’s a bad idea. I think a label would make a good decision pushing my sound.”

A.) “Nobody famous but usually just my friends. They go by Dela, DarkPurp, Kony762 & Muda. All great artists.”

A.) “It’s always a good feeling working with the people who understand you the most. You push each other to be better on the mic.”
