GloRilla is facing public family turmoil after her sister, Victoria, reignited accusations that the Memphis star has financially neglected relatives despite her success in the music industry.
Earlier this month, Victoria took to social media to air her grievances, claiming the “TGIF” rapper — born Gloria Woods — has distanced herself from the family since rising to fame. In an emotional post, she alleged that while fans view GloRilla as generous and grounded, their private reality tells a different story. Victoria questioned why the public rarely sees the rapper’s siblings and suggested it’s not about protection, but rather strained relationships.
The accusations quickly gained traction online, prompting GloRilla to respond. The rapper shared screenshots of text messages allegedly from their mother, expressing gratitude for Glo’s financial support. The messages appeared to counter Victoria’s narrative, portraying GloRilla as someone who has indeed stepped up for her family.
But the back-and-forth didn’t end there.
GloRilla later addressed the situation during a livestream, making serious allegations about Victoria’s past behavior. She claimed her sister once had her jailed for a week and even attempted to harm her when they were younger. While she stopped short of revealing every detail, Glo urged her sister to leave her and the rest of the family out of public disputes, insisting that the people she supports are “straight.”
Now, Victoria has returned with more claims. In a video shared by The Shade Room, she presented alleged messages from their mother that paint a far more complicated picture. In the texts, their mother appears frustrated, calling GloRilla’s actions “disrespectful” and accusing her of leaving family members hanging after inviting them to an awards show.
As of now, GloRilla has not publicly responded to the latest round of allegations.
