The YSL RICO trial’s ripple effects continue fracturing Atlanta’s rap scene, with Ralo now at the center of fresh drama targeting both Lil Baby and Young Thug.
The Famerica Records artist recently took shots at Thugger’s street credibility, suggesting the YSL head isn’t the gangster his image portrays. Ralo claimed he supported Jeffery early in his career despite being an “opp,” and implied Thug’s street involvement was largely for show.
Thugger wasted no time responding. “Tell the DA that,” he fired back on Twitter, referencing his own RICO case where prosecutors failed to prove gang leadership allegations—the same charges that landed him prison time earlier this decade before his 2024 no-contest plea and release. He later doubled down in a video, sporting a gator tail tank top with a sarcastic twist: “You right, I’m not a gangster. My ‘G’ stands for ‘Gator.'”
Ralo mocked the response, insisting Thugger can never authentically be who he claims. The tension escalated when a snippet of an upcoming Rob49 and Young Thug collaboration surfaced, featuring a direct diss: “Keep my mouth closed, I ain’t nothing like Ralo.”
Meanwhile, Ralo aired grievances about Lil Baby, lamenting how their early closeness dissolved once Baby sided with Thug. “Why you acting like I switch up for slime??” Wham challenged in an Instagram comment. “You know the business f**k you mean.” Ralo expressed regret about their former bond, stating he wouldn’t want to reconnect if they crossed paths.
The animosity between Ralo and Thug traces back roughly a year to mutual snitching accusations that have only deepened since. What began as courtroom fallout has evolved into personal vendettas playing out across social media and upcoming tracks, keeping Atlanta’s rap ecosystem fractured and volatile.
