Have you ever been so immersed in something that hours can go by before even noticing? That is what passion feels like. Immersing ourselves in work that matters to us is so incredibly satisfying that nothing about the tasks it requires makes the job feel like a chore. Of course, working hard for want we want in life is essential, but Hannah Felisa explains how hours can seem like seconds when you dedicate yourself to your passion.
A singer and songwriter, Hannah Felisa has been committed to her passion for creating music since she was about four years old. “The first time I sang, I remember it was in a Kindergarten musical,” states Hannah. ” I just remember how much I loved to sing. It quickly went from something just for fun to a passion I truly want to explore.” Hannah was ready to pursue a music career at a young age and dedicated herself to working towards that.
“When you really love something, it’s not just about being the best. It’s about being the best version of yourself and paving an authentic path leading you to your goals,” states Hannah. “Passion will almost always steer us in the right direction utilizing our God-given talents.” Hannah understands that if we aren’t doing something we love, the work will be a chore, but when we are doing something we are passionate about, that’s a different story.
“Whenever I am writing or working, my mind never wanders. I am completely immersed in the project,” says Hannah. “It doesn’t matter if it’s an admin task I need to take care of or performing in front of a live audience. I know that every task matters, and I welcome them. I embrace every single component of my music career because it is so important to me.” The passing time doesn’t matter. Hannah doesn’t even think about it because it is time well spent.
At just 17 years old, Hannah has already released three beautiful songs and looks forward to the future. “Music is my life,” exclaims Hannah. “Life is too short to waste our time doing things we aren’t passionate about.” Releasing profoundly inspirational music and uniquely her own, Hannah Felisa believes that we can all enjoy our time working when we harness our own individual talents and pursue what we are passionate about.
