Riverdale’s own Huncho Markk is stepping into a whole new era. The artist you once knew as UTMR PlugHunxho is no more. New name, new energy, and now officially under the wing of Dillon Cash at Swaggertown Records / Colossal Records, Huncho is showing the world he’s ready to go bigger and better than ever.
Huncho Markk was born Marquavious Bohannon on July 21, 2003, in Atlanta, Georgia. Music was always part of his life. His parents raised him on classic R&B and soul, and that sound shaped his ear early on. As he got older, he started finding his voice through the music of Chris Brown, Future, Lil Wayne, and others who knew how to blend real-life stories with dope melodies.
In 2021, he dropped his first track “Pain In My Cup” and things started moving. That record caught ears on Instagram and in the streets, letting people know he wasn’t just another rapper trying to make noise—he had something to say.
But growth brings change. And Huncho knew it was time to drop the old name and step out with something that truly matched who he is today. Huncho Markk isn’t just a name change—it’s a mindset. It’s about staying humble while knowing your worth, staying grounded while aiming high.
In 2024, he performed live for the first time at a local charity event, rocking the stage with Dvybez for their collab “Blessing Me.” That moment gave him the fuel to keep going, and just months later, he dropped his first mixtape “Humble Youngin” on October 4. The project gave fans a real look into his life—the good, the bad, and the lessons in between.
Now, with Dillon Cash and the team at Swaggertown Records / Colossal Records behind him, Huncho Markk is focused on growing his brand, leveling up his sound, and building something that lasts.
He’s not chasing clout. He’s building connections. He wants real fans who know the words, feel the message, and ride with him from day one. Huncho Markk isn’t just here to be heard. He’s here to be remembered.
