1. How would you describe your musical style?
A: I’m a pretty versatile artist, I can make hardcore rap, boom bap type stuff, drill music, even some melodic and chill stuff. I don’t wanna box myself in just yet, you know?
2. What is the first album you owned?
A: I don’t own any personally but my uncle has this vinyl of The Marshall Mathers LP that I played all the time
3. How do you prepare before going up on stage?
A: I usually psych myself up by listening to other people’s music. I watch other performances. And I remind myself that those people are out there waiting for a great time
4. If we’re going to buy you a drink, what should it be?
A: I don’t drink alcohol so a water would be fine (haha). I do love smoothies though
5. What’s a song that has been stuck in your head these days?
A: Chef Dreds by Griselda. It’s such a great song and there’s a lotta quotable lines
6. Who’s your favorite artist?
A: Kendrick Lamar. He’s unmatched in terms of conceptual music and he’s an incredible rapper
7. Tell us about the first song you made. Was it a success or a failure?
A: The first song I made was with a friend back in 2019. It’s called Emotions. It was really just a joke track that was only really known at our school. Everyone at school knew the song though and it did get about a thousand plays on Audiomack. But no it wasn’t exactly a success
8. What is the story behind Mama Raised A Menace?
A: I’d promised my friends I’d drop music. So I did. I got the inspiration for the title from the picture I used as the cover art. It’s a really nice picture
9.If you could pick one or the other what would you choose, the money or the fame?
A: I’d probably say the money. I wanna help my community in here Nigeria and donate money to places that need money. Fame would be nice too though (haha). Nothing beats the feeling of people screaming your name
10.If you could go back in time or in the future which one would you choose and why?
A: definitely back in time. There’s a lot of stuff I’d do differently. Also a lot of things I’ve learned now that would’ve been very useful back then.
