Virginia’s very own Apex Frazier is making serious noise. He is one of the special talents to watch in 2022 and so far has not disappointed. He has released great records and got some attention for his record “Godfidence” with fellow rapper Xay Hill that was released early 2022 and has since capitalized. He followed up with a record titled, “Coffee Shop” which currently sits as his most popular song on Spotify. He has always been relentless when it comes to chasing his dreams and has created a good buzz around himself. We asked him what his inspirations are and he said, “So many people. Obviously God and reaching people for His Kingdom is inspiring, but also my family, my friends, my little sister. Other artists like Bellion, Kanye, and J. Cole. As well as people who listen to my music and look up to me.”
He’s worked with some amazing artists and says, “My first single as Apex I worked with Beleaf from the Dream Junkies. It was incredible, he was one of my favorite artists at the time, and I was still so young that I didn’t understand how to maximize it, but just the opportunity to work with him was an honor. Someone else I need to mention is my good friend and producer, audisea. We work closely in the studio a lot. He produced my whole “Missions & Convictions” album, along with “Coffee Shop” and tons more.” Apex Frazier has continually put in work and doesn’t seem like he’s slowing down at all, He’s hinted to us that he’s planning on releasing an EP this coming April and we couldn’t be more excited. The Independent artist has shown that he belongs and at any moment could burst into a star.
Follow him (@apexfrazier) and stay tuned!
