Q.) What do you have going on that you’re most excited about?A.) “Well I do got a album I’m working on right now, It’s gonna be more singing out of me plus all solo songs but 1 I’m excited to show off more Meaningful music from me, Mingo The Poet.”
Q.) What would you say you are least excited about?A.) “Really for me there’s nothing not to be excited about, I just wanna build great relationships and get some real promo and hopefully make it big.”
Q.) Is there anything specific about you or your work that you think we should know about?A.) “I think my work is unique and I’m getting better with age. I feel I’m entering a new era of music for me.”
Q.) What would you consider to be a lot of money?A.) “10k.”
Q.) Are you in it for the money?A.) “I’m in it because I love it, money I want that yes for me and my son and my family and twins I am raising but I’m in this for the love of it I wanna have a long run in this game and win awards.”
Q.) Is there anything you’ve accomplished that you didn’t think you would be able to?A.) “Getting on FM radio. I’ve done that, it’s been amazing to hear myself on radio.”
Q.) What is the first song off your catalogue that you would direct a potential new fan to listen to?A.) “I Be On it”
Q.) “How many songs have you released?A.) “20.”
Q.) Tell us about some of your works not yet released, what’s going on in the vault?A.) “I got a project I haven’t put out yet. I’m recording it as we speak but I got like 15 songs I haven’t dropped yet.”
Q.) What do you think your role in the music community may end up being?A.) “It’s a big role I’m one of the hottest in my city and I always talk to people and try to help best I can. I wanna see Indiana get a star in the game I hope it’s me.”
Q.) What is a goal you have for between now and next year?A.) “I wanna break through on the billboard and I wanna leave a mark on the game with my album I am making and I wanna work with bigger artist to help me get out there more.”
Q.) How do you respond when people talk about being an artist like its a far fetched thing?A.) “You have to go on and know that you gonna try for your dream and don’t let anyone stop you even if your down remember why did you start go back to the drawing board and get better and keep trying.”
Q.) Who is the rapper you can first recall listening to?A.) “Drake for me, Kanye west too.”
Q,) What role would you say they had in the music industry?A.) “Very big roles way more people sing and rap now because of them.”
Q.) Do you listen to them still?A.) “Yes.”
