1 . What’s your name?
My name is Darnell but I go by Dae and that’s as an artists and in a day to day basis.
2 . Where are you from?
Born and raised in Brockton Massachusetts .
3 . How old are you?
I recently turned 19 in December 2022.
4 . When did you start making music
I started making music around 2017 I started as a producer and around 2019 I learned how to record and engineer my own vocals.
5 . How serious are you about your career?
I take my music career as serious as I can at the moment. I don’t have the money to invest in myself as much as I want to but I work everyday to get closer to where I want be in life and in the music industry.
6 . Have you ever thought about quitting music?
Yes I’ve thought about quitting music. Due to the fact I’d invest in myself and stay at the same spot I started.
7 . Who inspires you the most?
The people who inspire me the most are jaysapphire, Nova6k, Highway2009, Iayze, Partynextdoor and xxxtentacion. And on the producer side Frank Stacy, Cullen, Zayskillz, mingo, maajins are the main people that come to mind.
8 . What got you into making music?
My brother Jay sapphire is who got me into music then perfecting my craft, being able to express myself and create different emotions throughout my music led me to continue making music.
9 . Who is your favorite producer?
Frank Stacy.
10 . What is one of your best songs/beats?
Everyone loves my song “Full Circle” but my best song in my opinion is “Highway 2 u” which is unreleased.
11 . Are you signed to a record or label?
No not yet!
12 . Have you ever performed?
Yes I performed once before at a local place called “TheSoundLabMA”.
13 . Who would you most likely collaborate with?
Iayze, Highway2009.
14 . If you could open for any artist who would it be?
Trippie Redd.
15 . What’s next for you?
Hopefully find management and a label then become the artist I’ve always wanted to be.
