Interview with Nahvi

Hey Nahvi, how are you?

Feeling blessed. Truly blessed.

What is your biggest achievement?

I would have to say my biggest achievement is the amount of love and support that I have received from people who listen to my music. I always strive to do better each and every song I release, so to have a base behind me rooting for me to do more, and to push forward. There is nothing better than that.

Who is your biggest inspiration ?There are a ton of people that I take inspiration from, but the biggest inspiration to me is my Mom. She’s my hero, my best friend, and my #1 fan. The passion and energy she puts into everything she does, inspires me. I learned to have the same passion and energy in what I do. Honestly, if it wasn’t for her example, I wouldn’t be here talking to you!

Where do you see yourself in 1 year ?I see myself collaborating with more people, making crazier music, and overall…simply being busy with more music.

Oh and obviously happy with all of it!

Where are you from?I’m from Indianapolis, Indiana.

How old are you?

I actually just turned 30 on November 19th!

Are you working on any projects ?I am! I am currently collaborating with an artist named DKdoitall on his first solo project set to come out the first week of March. Every song on the project is one that I’ve produced. Be on the lookout!

I’m also working with Gerk Major on his next solo project as well!

Both of these guys are my frequent collaborators, and I am honored to be making their music and working with them both. They’ve always been family to me, and come with heat! Excited is an understatement!

I’m also going to be coming out with a free remix project around mid December. It’s just a few club edits that I’ve made in my spare time, but definitely fit a vibe!

What are you in this industry for ?

I want to take care of my people and my home. All the love that I have received, being able to do what I love to do, I wouldn’t have these opportunities if it wasn’t for them.
I’m in this industry to put Indianapolis, Indiana on everyone’s radar. I believe that Indiana doesn’t get any of the credit it deserves, and I want to be a part of changing that.

There are many people who are talented that don’t get any love. I will change that for the better.

What’s your next move ?

My next move is to keep creating and releasing. I have a lot of music to make, a lot of music to release, and there are a lot of talented people out there who want to do the same that I want to work with! So yeah, reaching out to artists, building more connections and creating more fire music man. That’s the name of the game this next year.
