What do you do?
Dizaster: I am a hip hop artist/musician. I have also played the washboard for some folk punk music.
I have been mixing and mastering the music we have been releasing on Soundcloud for the past 2 years.
Face Tatt: I am a hip hop artist/musician, I play guitar, and I played synth in a noise (experimental electronic)
band I was in several years ago.
How long have you been making music?
Dizaster: I have been making music since i was 15 and that is also when I started rapping. so about 23 years.
I was also in a couple punk rock bands..
Face Tatt: I started making music when I started learning how to play acoustic guitar when I was 13, so 18 years.
What was your first song/project?
Dizaster: I Can’t remember the first song because there are so many. But as for rap it was Country
Side Records with some close friends.
Face Tatt: My first official project was an album called Now We Darkly Glow from the noise band I was in called Perfect Villain.
A noise and experimental electronic label called The Centipede Farm released it.
Who’s your inspiration?
Dizaster: Wax, Tupac, Eminem to say a few but Cambatta really inspired me to start rapping again to
start this duo.
Face Tatt: Migos, Biggie, Missy Elliot, Lil Peep, Trippy Redd, Kendrik Lamar, and many more..
What was it like working with
Dizaster: I have been so happy working with Face Tatt the last 2 years on this duo it has
been a real adventure.
Face Tatt: It’s fun and pushes me to be at the top of my game working with Dizaster.
What are some features you have?
Dizaster: My verses are generally very explosive. I would say I just wanna sound like the hardest female
rapper in the game. I also put a lot of thought into my lyrics because I have a lot of passion for this
project and this is my chance finally to make it and I want to take it to the next level!
Face Tatt: I have a unique style that’s hard to put into words. I try to write bars that make you visualize things. I
I’m poetic and have a narrative aspect to my verses.
Who’s one person, dead or alive, that you’d want to work with?
Dizaster: I would say Young M.A. She is also inspiring to be because she is also LGBTQ.
Face Tatt: There are so many. I would like to work with Kendrik Lamar, Post Malone, and ASAP Rocky, to name a few.
Are you signed to a label?
Not yet but we are really eager to get signed with the right people.
Do you want a record deal, a distribution deal, or none?
We want to be signed and become the next big deal in this industry.
Who are your biggest supporters?
Dizaster: My family have always believed that I could accomplish anything I put my mind to, Face-Tatt
is my biggest support though, he is my everything!
Face Tatt: Dizaster is my biggest supporter as she is my partner both in this music duo, but we are also married.
What are you currently working on?
We are always promoting or writing and making art because we have to because it is a major outlet
for our emotions.
What is your latest release? We released a new single on soundcloud called Drugs on Oct 1st but our
latest full length album Triple Threat was released 07-29-22 it is on all streaming services.
When is your next release?
We have not planned anything but we usually put out a new song or two
each month on our SoundCloud. www.soundcloud.
Where is one place you want to travel to perform?
Dizaster: I have always wanted to perform in LA or Chicago
Face Tatt: Anywhere overseas since I’ve never traveled outside of the country.
What’s the biggest crowd that you have performed for?
Dizaster: 200ish people
Face Tatt: I would guess 150 people. It’s hard to remember because I’ve played so many shows. None of them have been
that big though. I’ve played a lot of D.I.Y. venues like at punk houses.
Who’s someone you can see yourself on tour with?
Dizaster: I would love to tour with Cambatta or Young M.A.
Face Tatt: Maybe ILoveMakonnen since he’s also a part of the LGBT community
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Dizaster: Signed and touring for sure!
Face Tatt: Touring, recording all the time, working with big name musicians, having the time of my life, and making lots of money doing what i love.
