1. How would you describe your musical style?
I make all kinds of rap music. I come with the lyrics all the time but I also have a melodic style to me. I care about the bars over the instrumentals but I only rap on beats that speak to my emotions. I also produce a lot of my own instrumentals and always try to bring an original sound to my music.
2. What is the first album you owned?
The first album I owned was Lil Wayne’s “Tha Carter 3”.
3. How do you prepare before going up on stage?
I usually prepare by hanging out with homies and going over some of the songs before I perform.
4. If we’re going to buy you a drink, what should it be?
Arizona Iced Tea
5. What’s a song that has been stuck in your head these days?
A song that has been stuck in my head lately is “Burn” by Juice WRLD.
6. Who’s your favorite artist?
My favorite artist of all time is Lil Wayne. He is the main reason I started making music.
7. Tell us about the first song you made. Was it a success or a failure?
The first song I made and released to the public is a song called “Way We Breathe”. The song is about my dad who passed away from cancer when I was 9 years old. It was really popular at my high school and I ended up getting thousands of plays. My success from this song gave me the motivation to keep making music.
8. What is the story behind “FILL IN BLANK”
My song “Serenity” is about feeling a sense of peace while dealing with some sort of struggle. I wrote this song when I was in rehab and it’s a reflection of how I was feeling mentally at the time. The song talks about getting clean and finding the beauty in life and nature among all the issues I was facing.
9.If you could pick one or the other, what would you choose, the money or the fame?
I would pick money because I want people to hear my music, but if I had the money to support myself I would feel more comfortable to take my time with my music and try to perfect songs, EPs, and albums before releasing them.
10.If you could go back in time or in the future, which one would you choose and why?
I would go back in time for sure. This would give me the opportunity to write hit songs before they came out!
