1. What is your creative process like?
A: I start my day at 6 AM every single day. From there, I immediately begin sketching or working on my tasks for the day until I finish them. Can’t forget to bump some fire tunes too!
2. Who are you listening to currently that gets you in that zone?
A: Right now, my go to’s are: Gunna, Young Thug, Sheff G, Sleepy Hallow, Corey St. Rose and Lil Uzi Vert. Just to name a few, I listen to a variety of artists on a daily basis.
3. How do you prepare before doing an art piece?
A: For starters, I develop a dope concept. After that, everything just flows naturally and the magic gets made in a flash.
4. What is it like working with so many celebrities and influencers?
A: Honestly, it’s pretty cool working with so many like minded individuals and creating dope content for the world to see. Knowing that you and that person put so much time and effort into it and watching the results is a feeling I probably will never get used to.
5. How did you obtain the plaques that you have?
A: To be real, I just asked and the labels helped connect me with the plaque creators to get them. I didn’t over ask, I wasn’t being annoying about it, I just stayed patient and waited my turn and was blessed to receive them! Shoutout Lu Mota and EA Thomas for helping me get the 2 physical plaques I have currently.
6. Do you expect to receive any more physical plaques or new RIAA certifications?
A: Time will tell haha. I can say that more physical ones will be on the way but due to covid things have been a bit slow but i’m patient. As for new certifications, that’s really up to fans and supporters to help push the songs I made covers for to that certified level but I have no doubt in my mind that it will happen. My Winners Circle fam is coming for their plaques next!
7. So you also make music and produce beats, tell us about the first song you made. Was it a success or a failure?
A: My first song (Sauce) did pretty well in its first couple weeks of its release. It has accumulated over 6K streams over a few platforms and is still rising. However, I only make music and beats for fun as a hobby. I still take them very seriously, though I don’t mind numbers. I mainly do it to pass time or give myself something new to listen to.
8. For your beats, could you ever see them being placed?
A: Hell yeah! It’s a dream of mine to get a beat placement with one of my favorite artists or the ones that I work with regularly. I know it’s a process and takes time but I am so ready to produce beats for others! I’m not gonna lie, my beats are HARD!
9.If you could pick one or the other, what would you choose, the money or the fame?
A: Money. Fame invites mainly attention. Sometimes they go hand in hand. But money is more important to me.
10. What is next for Kid Flvsh?
A: I will be dropping 3 new animated series on my YouTube Channel (“Da Flies”, “Badd Manner High” (starring @radiobigmack) and “Skitz”). I also have an EP I’m putting together titled ” For Fun” coming very soon. Lastly, I am dropping another BIG animated music video with Papoose, stay tuned for that one!
