Hate is something most artists in the industry seem to endure on their rise to popularity, but upcoming artist KONCEPT TOO COLD seems to not only enjoy but encourage the outlook towards him on his new single “Hate Me”. Koncept is a self-proclaimed ‘famous rookie’ who moved from the midwest to Sacramento, California to pursue a career in the music industry.
KONCEPT TOO COLD is a self-made artist hailing from southern Wisconsin, a place where many have big dreams but few ever spread their wings and take flight. He now resides in Sacramento CA and records his music at The Press Recording Studio in Stockton CA. KONCEPT has began creating a buzz across the valley- doing shows in the Modesto area, and frequenting the party scene around Sacramento. The Bay area has also shown love at shows, KONCEPT has been the opening act for local legends such as “Keak Da Sneak” and “Husalah”. In recent months, he has been featured in major publications such as THE SOURCE, WORLDSTAR, and ELEVATOR. After his debut release in February- KONCEPT has been rocking the industry with a music video drop every month, with plans to establish himself among the greats.
“Consistency is most important to me, but I had to make sure that my songs and videos and style were ready. You know? I want to be what they [the fans] want. So that’s why it took so long for you guys to hear from me.”
KONCEPT says of his long-awaited arrival to the industry. Once here he says he plans to stay, “It’s been a long time coming. Everyone who knows me, everyone who has ever known me has always known me as a rapper, first and foremost.”
KONCEPT plans to take the world on a journey through his music, and to make a name for his hometown, where talent usually goes unrecognized, or put second to ‘what must be done.’ With a diverse pool of inspiration, an easy-to-connect- never down on your luck attitude, and willpower unlike any other, KONCEPT TOO COLD has a sound for everyone.
