Hailing from the Lone Star State, Eric Estrada, better known by his stage name Soze GTH, is bringing a new wave of thought-provoking and relatable music to the rap scene. Soze GTH isn’t just another rapper—he’s on a mission. Frustrated by the repetitive themes of modern rap, he’s determined to push knowledge through his music, making an impact where others simply entertain. “People who rap about the same shit keep getting signed and deals but push no knowledge. Time for a change,” he says. With his signature “schizophrenic” style, Soze GTH is carving out a lane for himself, blending raw lyricism with a unique approach that keeps his audience coming back for more.
The artist’s career is already off to a strong start, having won the Best Performance award at Emerald City and boasting over 500 monthly listeners on Spotify without relying on paid promotions. His tracks are professionally produced, and his ability to connect with his listeners on a personal level is evident in the relatability of his music. “Once we get the synergy, it’s a done deal—it’s like telepathy,” Soze says about his collaborations with other artists and producers. He takes pride in building tracks that are both well-structured and lyrically coherent, never willing to compromise on quality.
Soze GTH’s motivation comes from a deeply personal place—he’s working tirelessly to ensure that his daughter will never need a job. His journey hasn’t been without its challenges, but with a DIY spirit, he’s learned to overcome obstacles by becoming close friends with technology and always finding a way forward. “Google everything. I’m very close friends with my AI,” he admits, showcasing his drive to succeed against the odds.
