Coming straight out of Oxon Hill, Maryland — Glassmanor, Lil Mikey is one of those artists whose music feels less like entertainment and more like a window into his life. With 4–5 years of dedication behind him, he’s been steadily carving out his own lane in hip hop’s new age sound, blending raw honesty with forward-thinking energy. From the start, Mikey knew music wasn’t just a hobby — it was a way to document growth, struggle, and evolution.
His journey began with his first release, “Lil Mikey – Youngest One Having,” a project that introduced listeners to his hunger and perspective. Inspired not by industry trends but by life outside of where he’s at now, Mikey uses music as a form of motivation — both for himself and anyone listening who’s trying to make it out of tough circumstances. That authenticity is what separates him. Every bar feels lived-in, every track a reflection of real moments.
Family plays a major role in his creative process. From writing all of his own material to developing music video concepts alongside his brothers, Lil Mikey keeps his circle tight. His biggest supporter is his brother, and that loyalty translates into his work ethic. Production duties are handled by his cousin cxrifer and dontheengineer, giving his sound a familiar but polished edge that continues to evolve with each release.
His latest single, “Write My Wrongs,” captures where he’s at mentally — reflective, focused, and hungry for what’s next. While he’s not currently signed, Mikey is open to a deal and has his eyes set on bigger stages, including performing in New York and eventually touring with artists like Hurricane Wisdom. With past performances reaching crowds of around 200 people, he’s already building momentum from the ground up.
Looking ahead, Lil Mikey is preparing to drop an EP at the beginning of the new year and is locked in on making 2026 the best year of his career so far. In five years, he sees himself successful, on tour, hitting 20 million streams, and most importantly, able to give his daughter anything she wants — a goal that fuels everything he does.
