Sammie B Drops Her Elevated EP

Sammie B’s record “Elevate” from her most recent Elevated EP has gotten thousands of radio spins- all across the globe! That upward motion Sammie B is moving in has been something to track, so we’ve been tracking it. She charted #28 on Global Top 150 Independent, #80 on Global Top 200, and #40 on Global Top 50 R&B/Hip-Hop. The Elevated EP has gotten over 30,000 streams on Spotify alone. It has been such a pleasure watching her grow as an independent artist. We asked Sammie B about her feelings on her newest release gaining traction and she gave an excited reaction in the most nonchalant way. She smiled wide and chuckled, “Yes, it’s super cool but I’m far from impressed. This is the very beginning of what’s to come… you all have no idea.” She explained her gratitude for fans, DJ’s, and everyone who has played a part in her success thus far.

So what is to come for NY artist Sammie B? We had the delight of finding out during this interview. Expect to see many more visuals as she is really looking to further intertwine visual arts with her music. She stated, “It’s just that much more attention-grabbing when you’re able to be visually stimulated while listening along.” Sammie B says she’s not done promoting her Elevated EP and that more visuals for it are to drop in the near future. She also explained that she is interested in putting out videos breaking down the meaning behind the lyrics in her previous releases. Sammie B said she will be dropping more merch collections. Furthermore, she expressed her desire to collaborate with other artists/producers/creatives all across the United States.

Beyond the music, she wishes to impact the lives of the youth. How will she be doing that, you ask? Sammie B plans on speaking at high schools and colleges to let students know about where her fiery devotion is derived from. She has this phrase, “I’ve found a way to utilize my pain and turn it into passion.” Her main goal goes further than expanding her fanbase. The compassion, love, and light within her shines outwardly when she speaks about yearning to let people know they can overcome struggles. Sammie B fearlessly shared her story with us and we can fully say we not only back her up in everything she wants to accomplish, but we wholeheartedly believe in her capability to make a big change in this world.

It was such a pleasure learning about Sammie B on a more personal level and we know her purpose is very much so “larger than life.” What a breath of fresh air, having an artist so undeniably authentic and true to herself. The vulnerability, creative expression, humble confidence, hunger to strive for the best, and versatility of this artist is something to be noted for.
