Q) What do you have going on that you’re most excited about?
A) “I’m excited about this new year coming up. I will be revealing a few projects I have been working on. Some new music and more.”
Q) What would you say you are least excited about?
A) “Being vulnerable and sharing my self with the world.”
Q) Is there anything specific about you or your work that you think we should know about?
A) “I’m a perfectionist and I don’t release stuff that I don’t approve. It’s my best and worse quality. People should definitely know how dedicated I am to the whole creative process.”
Q) What would you consider to be a lot of money?
A) “It all really depends on the circumstances and how one chooses to live and spend. A 100,000 is a lot of money is your wise. I think people get millions and don’t know how to act.”
Q) Are you in it for the money?
A) “I’m in this business because I was born an artist. There are so many different aspects I have to work toward on a daily basis, and I do it because it’s what I love. It’s therapy and has gotten me through some really hard times. Would I like to be successful and have a ton of money for doing what I was born to do? Absolutely. Is it a necessity, yes. But I don’t do it for the money at all honestly.”
Q) Is there anything you’ve accomplished that you didn’t think you would be able to?
A) “Successfully releasing my EP was a big step. Not only was a starting to take myself more seriously as an artist, but I was also letting go of lots of hurt and heartbreak. I was able to get it out, and now I have a bunch of brand new material that I’m excited for the world to hear.”
Q) What is the first song off your catalogue that you would direct a potential new fan to listen to?
A) “My song “In Person” because it’s just a vibe. Many people can relate to missing someone and feeling so deserted without them, almost like something is literally missing from life. That song will always mean a lot to me because I was in the middle of moving back to New York City.”
Q) How many songs have you released?
A) “Only 5 as of now. I am releasing a new single late December.”
Q) Tell us about some of your works not yet released, what’s going on in the vault?
A) “There’s many different genres in the vault. I have old school and new school rnb, hip hop, trap, pop, ballads and more. I also have around 50 demo songs for other artists that I would love to work with.”
Q) What do you think your role in the music community may end up being?
A) “I’m an entrepreneur. I own my own independent record label and a service company. I want to help discover, develop and promote other artists. I am a healer that’s healing. I want to teach self love, faith, and worth. Especially with musicians, we don’t really live such easy lives and we suffer from a lot of depression, anxiety, addictions etc.”
Q) What is a goal you have for between now and next year?
A) “My goal is to gain more fans and finish up these projects so they can be revealed simultaneously, although with scheduling I don’t know what will happen because it’s a lot of production still going on.”
Q) How do you respond when people talk about being an artist like its a far fetched thing?
A) “To each it’s own. Everyone has a story, and everyone expresses themselves differently. Truly I don’t have a reaction to how someone else will explain their version of what “being an artist is”. It’s there life and journey and no one has walked in their shoes.”
Q) Who is the rapper you can first recall listening to?
A) “My house was a Biggie house. Being from
Brooklyn, we always had a lot of B.I.G on.”
Q) What role would you say they had in the music industry?
A) “Christopher Wallace was just so special. He was B.I.G literally! He had a confidence and swag that was dope! When he spit, it was always so storytelling, but catchy at the same time. He played a big role. Pun intended.”
Q) Do you listen to them still?
A) “Yes. We play all the classics in my crib. I was just listening to him and bone thugs. I even got a record player and I need to buy more shit to vibe too. I would love to sample him in a new way.”
