Staten Island’s own Inf Black is back again, showing you what New York rap and culture is all about. After being in the rap game for two decades Inf Black’s roots go way back to the early day’s of when it all started. Someone who believes in the art and form of hip-hop and the pride that goes along with writing your own music; coming up with catchy flows; punchlines; bars and delivery. It’s not easy being an emcee. Out of all the songs we listened to we were really impressed by Inf Black’s latest single “Fight For Me”.
How did you get your rap name “Inf Black”?
“Well the name ” BLacK”….came from da bLock. “I-N-F”…short for Infinite. Or in other words a coupLe oLder heads from my neighborhood gave me the name arounD 15 or 16 yrs oLd. They used to say i had a infinite kinda souL…or my spirit…my mannerisms…or my swaG was like Dat. I was aLways sharp anD on point. If you can figure wat i mean. The name “infinite” was aLso apart of our “GoDboDy” teachinGs otherwise kNown as the 5percenters. Alotta oLder Gods around the way taught and instilled in us from youth the wisDom of the universe and the bLacK mAN. I took into those teachinGs from younG. So da names jus kinda stuck. I put the Inf wit the BLacK as my artist name wit a definition to it as well. (“”INner Fire Born ta Live And Create Kings””)”
