The New Kid On The Block: Meet Lil Yelli

Ajay Cardamone otherwise known as “Lil Yelli” is a 16 year old hip-hop artist steadily on the rise. Originally from Chicago but later moved to Georgia in a town called Rome, this young christian rap artist has been making music for 2-2.5 years. He started out on soundcloud not really knowing how to mix or master or even how to make music. He takes inspiration from all artists and really thinks that you can learn something from any artist in any genre. He told us that, “I wouldn’t define myself as an artist who sticks to a genre…I make what I feel in the moment so that could be christian hip hop, pop, pop punk, or even hyperpop.” He has worked with popular TikTok rapper Don Ready and says that, “Working with Don Ready was truly awesome he put a lot of time into me and inspired me creatively as well as in my faith he strives for me to work harder and work harder as an artist.” Lil Yelli is amongst one of the best young artist in his space of music and is on his way to stardom.
