Hailing from Newark, New Jersey, Trini G—short for Trinidad Guyana—is an artist who has been pouring her heart and soul into music since she was 13. For her, music is an emotional outlet, a way to process and express the highs and lows of life. Known for her dynamic sound that can make fans “turn up, cry, and reflect on themselves,” Trini G has captured the attention of listeners who are drawn to her vulnerability and versatility. With tracks like “Cosmo Wanda” and her upcoming release “Fee Fi Fo Fum,” Trini G shows her ability to tap into a wide range of emotions, from fun and energetic to raw and introspective. What sets her apart is her ability to create characters within her music that reflect her mixed emotions, allowing fans to experience different aspects of her personality. She sees her fans as the driving force behind her success, and she’s deeply grateful for their support. “Without a fan base, I don’t think an artist can prosper,” Trini G says, emphasizing the importance of her genuine connection with her supporters. In terms of collaborations, Trini G has her eyes set on working with artists like Lisha G, Sofaygo, and Mcvertt in the short term. Her long-term goal? A dream collaboration with none other than her idol, Nicki Minaj, who has been a source of inspiration since she started writing music. Looking ahead, Trini G plans to release more creative and less commercial music, build her fan base, and connect with other talented artists. One year from now, she sees herself continuing to grow both musically and personally, dropping tracks that allow her to explore her vulnerability even more. Trini G also dreams of expanding her career beyond music—eventually starring in movies, modeling for major brands, and even investing in her own theme park. Despite the challenges she’s faced and moments where she’s considered quitting, Trini G remains committed to her art. “Making music means I can have fun, tell my story, and express all my emotions,” she says, describing music as both an escape and a form of self-expression. Although she doesn’t see herself making music for the rest of her life, she’s not done yet—her next project will showcase her most vulnerable side, giving fans a deeper look into her world.
